Robin and Toss
Hi,
My name is Robin Anderson. I want to welcome you and take a moment to tell you about myself.
I've been an all breed dog groomer and veterinarian technician, but first and foremost I've been a professional dog trainer working with a variety of canines for more than 20 years. I began in Alaska, working around racing sled dogs. Later, I did obedience showing in the AKC and UKC dog circuit. My training knowledge expanded when I began working Schutzhund, a sport training in three areas; tracking, obedience and protection.
Dogs, I trained have performed the duties of K9 officer, disabled assistance, unassisted and handler assisted guard responsibilities.
Today I'm a K9 Handler with a Colorado Search and Rescue group, providing services free of charge in the search for lost persons in the Colorado wilderness.
Having a dog devoted to helping others is the most fulfilling of all my dog adventures, but life would not be complete without the family companion. The family dog performs just as rewarding a service to the family when there is communication, i.e...training, among the family members.
The best way to obtain the ideal canine companion is with a positive training experience. In reality training is forming an understanding and trust with each member of the family. Whether your four legged friend performs a sought after service to humanity or an endearing service to the family with eager pride, K9 Academics is here to help you and your canine reach the potential you envision.
I train with positive methods, designed to develop and encourage a faithful confident attitude in a dog, training the dog as a trusted member of the family. Helping you gain a joyful partnership with you and your canine companion.
Sincerely,
Robin Anderson
